How to not pivot a startup

Don’t hire a sales and marketing team before the market is clearly pulling the product out of you. If you are not quite sure whether you have product-market fit, you probably don’t. “One of the most common mistakes companies make is to try to inorganically grow the customer pipeline before the product is retaining existing customers.

This is one of the many passages I read in books and articles on a daily basis. They span many disciplines, including art, artificial intelligence, automation, behavioral economics, cloud computing, cognitive psychology, enterprise management, finance, leadership, marketing, neuroscience, startups, and venture capital.
